1. Did you like studying science when you were at school?
I did. I was actually good at science back then because I never scored anything below 9 in most science tests. The thing we studied back then was quite simple, you know, things like photosynthesis or how our body processes the nutrients.
2. What do you remember about your science teachers at
school?
I don’t quite remember anyone in particular. All I can remember was that they were all very strict with the students. They never tolerated any misbehaviour in their classes, and I was a bit scared of them, to be honest.
3. How interested are you in science now?
I’m still a man of science because I think studying science is the only way to understand how the world works. For example, learning biology helps us know more about our own body and the creatures out there, while physics gives us insights into the fundamentals like why water freezes into ice. Science is really interesting, and I think we should all spend some time learning the basic things about it.
4. What do you think has been an important recent scientific development?
I think it's a quantum computer. It’s like a kind of supercomputer that is said to be a million times faster
than our normal computer. I’ve never seen one before but from what I’ve read so far, this monster is going to change the world forever soon. I don’t know if it's good or bad news for us. Maybe time will tell.
