Bài mẫu 

Some people suggest that banning all kinds of advertising would be beneficial for the society since advertising is not only purposeless but also damaging. I completely disagree with this statement.

Advertising itself is a useful tool for companies to reach their customers and for customers to gain awareness of new products available. On a business level, when a new product is released, the company needs to inform their target customers of its existence and tries to sell it for a profit. In this case, advertising is among the most convenient and effective tools for the business to spread the information of their product to a large audience. On an individual level, people can obtain information of available products on the market, make comparisons, and then make their purchase decisions thanks to advertising. For example, a person looking for a new mobile phone may compare the features of the available products, such as Iphone, Samsung Galaxy, and Xiaomi, by watching their adverts before choosing which one is the most suitable for his need.

In addition, a ban on advertising can result in a huge loss for society. First, advertising serves as a means of providing information about products and services. A ban might limit consumers’ ability to make informed choices and be aware of new products or innovations while preventing companies from effectively communicating with their potential customers. Second, advertising itself is a gigantic industry that provides countless jobs and drive economic growth, so a ban on advertising can pose a grave threat to this industry, eventually resulting in high unemployment rate and damage to the economy. Third, many media outlets and online content creators rely on advertising revenue as the main source of income to fund their operations, which means they will struggle to exist if advertising is prohibited.

In conclusion, I disagree with the idea of banning advertising. This is because advertising is needed for companies and individuals, and banning it can leave many severe consequences for society.
