1. What are the most popular museums and art galleries where you live?
I’ve never been a fan of museums and galleries, so it’s really hard for me to tell which is the most popular. I have no clues about art galleries because I literally don’t care about them. When it comes to museums, maybe the War Remnant Museum in District 3 is among the most popular because I hear people talking about it all the time. Yeah, that’s maybe everything I can tell.
2. Do you believe that all museums and art galleries should be free?
It depends. Museums and art galleries still need money to be maintained and renewed frequently, so if they have no sponsors, then charging visitors is a must. They need the income to at least keep all the facilities in good condition. However, if the government sponsors these places, maybe we can consider making them free because money is no longer an issue then.
3. What kinds of things make a museum or art gallery an interesting place to visit?
I believe it’s the value these places can bring. People often go to a museum because they’re curious about the themes of the exhibitions there. For example, many tourists go to the War Remnant Museum to learn more about the Vietnam War, like what actually happened and the damage it did to our country. Similarly, people go to a gallery because of the stories that the artists convey through their works.
