Some people believe that it is a good idea that older people continue to work if it is possible for them to do. Do you agree or disagree?
Độ khó: Trung bình – Chủ đề này không phải là một chủ đề mới, thí sinh có thể dễ dàng nghĩ ra được ý tưởng cho bài.
Cách tiếp cận trong bài mẫu:
- Ý kiến tổng quan: Đồng ý với việc người cao tuổi nên tiếp tục đi làm nếu họ còn có khả năng.
- Body 1: Lợi ích của việc người cao tuổi tiếp tục làm việc đối với bản thân họ. Bao gồm việc duy trì nguồn thu nhập ổn định và khả năng sống độc lập mà không phụ thuộc vào người khác.
- Body 2: Lợi ích của việc người cao tuổi tiếp tục làm việc đối với trạng thái tinh thần của họ và cách mà việc giao tiếp và hợp tác với đồng nghiệp giúp họ cảm thấy có mục tiêu trong cuộc sống, giảm bớt cảm giác cô đơn và buồn chán.

Bài mẫu Writing
It is believed that the elderly will receive benefits as they carry on their jobs if they are capable of doing so. I totally agree with this statement as it is not only beneficial for them but also others.
Firstly, older people do not have to rely on others to earn a living. When they continue their work, they will be able to maintain a stable income and hence pay their own bills/ cover their own daily expenses. Therefore, they can live independently and take care of themselves without having to rely on anyone’s help. Secondly, they can improve their mental well – being when remaining in the workforce. Communicating and cooperating with their colleagues at work usually gives them a sense of purpose in life. As a result, the elderly will not feel lonely and bored if they continue their job.
Another point is that not only the old people but also others will benefit a lot as they carry on working despite their old age. Allowing the elderly to continue working can ease the burden on the government’s budget as the pension they pay to retirees will be lowered. As a result, the government will have more money to invest in other aspects such as education and healthcare. Moreover, businesses may decrease the cost of recruiting new employees as well when the elderly keep on working. They will save more time and money since they can retain an experienced working labour.
To sum up, I believe that it is a good idea for the old people to keep on working as they can take care of themselves and support others.
