The chart below shows the aid from six developed countries to developing countries from 2008 to 2010.

The chart gives information about the financial support given by six developed countries to developing countries between 2008 and 2010.

In general, the US gave the highest financial aid to developing countries, while the opposite was true for the Netherlands and Sweden. The aid from most countries either increased or remained the same after two years, except for Japan.

The US donated the largest amount of money to developing countries in 2008, at around 22 billion dollars, followed by about 12 billion from the UK and 10 billion from Germany. Two years later, the US still maintained its first position as their financial aid to developing countries increased to roughly 25 billion dollars, despite a small drop of about 2 billion dollars in 2009. The figures for Germany and the UK also grew by approximately 4 billion and 1 billion dollars in 2010, respectively.

Regarding the other three countries, Japan gave about 12 billion dollars to developed countries in 2008, twice the amount given by the Netherlands and Sweden. The aid from Japan later fell to 10 billion dollars in 2009 before recovering to 11 billion dollars in 2010. On the other hand, the figures for the Netherlands and Sweden rose by 2 and 1 billion dollars in 2009, respectively, before falling by 1 billion dollars one year later.
