It is believed that people in the twenty-first century generally enjoy an improved quality of life, compared to those in previous centuries. I completely agree with this viewpoint for the following reasons.

Living in the twenty-first century provides people with an improved quality of life compared to those in previous centuries, primarily due to advancements in medical science and healthcare. The rapid progress in medical research and technology has resulted in the development of vaccines, antibiotics, and various life-saving treatments. Additionally, thanks to the increased access to the Internet, personal hygiene practices has become more widespread, thereby promoting the prevention of infectious diseases. These changes have significantly reduced mortality rates and increased life expectancy, allowing individuals to lead longer and healthier lives. Furthermore, initiatives from international organisations to enhance healthcare systems, expand medical coverage, and address public health issues also contribute to a better for people in the twenty-first century.

Another key factor contributing to the enhanced quality of life in the twenty-first century is the advancement in communication technology. The advent of the internet, mobile devices, and social networks has provided people with faster and more efficient means of exchanging ideas, maintaining contacts and conducting businesses. Unlike communication in the past where people could only participate in single-person interaction via landline phones or fax machines, people can now connect seamlessly with friends, family, and colleagues via messaging apps or video conferencing platforms. These changes have opened up new opportunities for education, work, and social interactions, enriching the quality of life for people in this current century.

In conclusion, I align with the notion that the twenty-first century offers an improved quality of life, compared to lives in the previous centuries. This improvement is mainly driven by advancements in medical science and communication technology.
